website redesign
Located in London, ShineBid supports bid management teams to generate winning bids. Having previously helped ShineBid to update content on their existing website, in WordPress, they decided it was in need of an overhaul to suit their current marketing needs.
The Project
The project required a complete overhaul of the ShineBid website to go with the new request for a ‘grittier’, brightly coloured and clashing set of brand guidelines. This project was not without it’s challenges; content tended to change daily, and at the last minute the company wanted to provide a new ‘Recruitment’ service to it’s resume. Designs had to be updated accordingly with a fast turnaround in order to achieve the New Year deadline.
Project Timeline
Due to the fast turnaround of this project, the Information Architecture and User Interface design had to be done within two weeks to be then handed over to the WordPress developer. I allocated a further week to this project once the site was built, to import all of the website’s content ready to push live in time for the deadline.
Skills
I helped the client organise their content and produced a comprehensive Information Architecture diagram to illustrate the user interaction within the site. This diagram was updated on alternate days inline with the clients changes. Desktop and mobile designs were produced and supplied to the developer in Photoshop. As well as designing, importing content into WordPress, managing the developer, I also managed the overall delivery of the project to ensure the deadline was met.
Project Images
The images displayed show the homepage on various responsive devices. I have also included the Information Architecture diagram for the site.
