Blade Consulting, a London base construction consultancy company, wanted to refresh the look of their old logo.
They wanted the new logo to contain their name but also included an emblem that could be separated from the words and recognised on it’s on in the future – much like the Nike tick. They wanted the logo to be flexible so that it could be used for lots of different sectors, investment and expansion into areas outside construction, as part of the business model over the next 5 years.
To ensure some relation to the previous logo, the shape was reused to enclose the new emblem. As a relatively new company, fresh colours were used to achieve the edgy perception that the client was looking for.
Subsequent to the logo redesign a suite of stationary was produced inline with the new brand redesign.
This project, including the suite of stationary, was delivered over the span of a month.
All development of the logo took place in Illustrator. Stationary was produced in InDesign.
The top image displays the existing logo and the final revamped logo. I have also shown the final emblem and the suite of stationary designed.
